Sennelier Oil Pastels were first created in 1949 for the artist Pablo Picasso. The Sennelier Oil Pastel has a creamy texture which makes it wonderful to work with. It contains only the finest pigments with an extremely pure synthetic, acid free binding agent and mineral wax. Thanks to the high pigment content, the Sennelier Oil Pastel achieves high colouring and covering potential. With the exception of the iridescent and fluorescent shades, they also have a high level of lightfastness as well. The Sennelier oil pastels do not contain any oxidants, thus creating a colour that is intense, is long-lasting and will not yellow or crack.
