Porcelaine Paint
Porcelaine150 can be applied to all heat-stable bases that are able to withstand a temperature of 150°C (300°F), such as porcelain, china, glazed earthenware, terracotta, metal, enamelled sheet steel, copper and glass.
Within the Porcelaine150 range you have the porcelaine paints in 45ml pots, felt markers and outliners which are in a tube with a nozzle for easy application.
There are various mediums that you can use with the paints. If you are applying the paint to porous surfaces such as terracotta, it is advisable to use the filler undercoat. The paint gives a finish similar to enamelling but you may wish to alter this by adding in some gloss or matt medium. Working on different surfaces will also enable you to experiment with the transparency and intensity of the colours.
Porcelaine150 is very simple to use. After observing the required drying time of at least 24 hours, place your object in a cold oven. When the temperature of the oven has reached 150°C (300°F), bake for 35 minutes.
You will then be able to wash the item in a dishwasher and wash your brushes in a light soapy water. |
